This proposal seeks to employ a multi-pronged approach to addressing the wanton destruction of forests and wetlands and improve natural resources management and utilization in the Tooro Region. Forests and wetlands are strategic for sound environment conservation as they provide many ecosystem services. Tooro Environment Stewardship for Sustainable Development (TESSD), a young NGO, is committed to spearheading the preservation of the environment for future generations in the region. The organization also seeks support to grow and develop into a dependable engine for sustainable regional human development.
